No. Each device runs one copy of AccountGo holding one company’s books. If you run more than one business, the safest approach is to use a separate device (or the desktop app) for each business. Alternatively, you can switch between businesses on one device using Backup and Restore — back up the current company’s data first, then restore the other company’s backup — but this must be done carefully, as restoring replaces everything currently in the app.

Use the Opening Balances screen. Enter the balance for each account, then use Update to GL once your balances are in balance (debits equal credits). The auto-balance option can post any difference to Retained Earnings for you. You can save a draft and come back to it before posting.

Yes. AccountGo works with any currency. Set your currency symbol in Company Settings and it will be used throughout the app and on all printed documents.

Yes. In Company Settings, turn off the "Charge VAT" option. All document screens and banking screens will then work without VAT: amount fields are simply labelled "Amount" and no VAT is calculated or shown on your documents.

Go to Settings and open Company Settings. Enter your company name, trading name, postal address, telephone number and VAT details. You can also upload your logo, which will appear on your invoices, quotes and other documents.
